2 Days Kaziranga Safari & Jungle Plan

Day 1

Arrive at Jungleciti House, check in from 3:00 PM, relax with river, lawn or tea-garden atmosphere, and review safari preferences. Evening can include restaurant dinner, local cuisine guidance and a short orientation for wildlife etiquette.

Day 2

Morning jeep safari in Kohora or Bagori range as available. Return for breakfast and rest. Afternoon can include a second safari, Orchid Park visit, local sightseeing, tea garden views, meeting local people, or onward airport transfer.

3 Days Kaziranga with Dolphin Ride Option

Day 1

Arrival, room check-in, local orientation, tea garden or river-side relaxation and Jungle Plan briefing.

Day 2

Morning jeep safari in Kohora range. Afternoon jeep safari in Bagori or Agaratoli range depending on availability. Evening dinner and relaxed property time.

Day 3

Brahmaputra river dolphin ride option, Burapahar range safari or Orchid Park visit. Evening can include cultural evening at Orchid Park or a private in-house Bihu dance request at the resort, subject to artist availability.

4 Days Multi-Range Kaziranga Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive from Guwahati Airport, Jorhat Airport, Tezpur Airport or another Northeast route. Keep the first day light with local cuisine, property walk and safari briefing.

Day 2

Morning Kohora range jeep safari. Afternoon Bagori range safari. Dinner and rest at Jungleciti House.

Day 3

Morning Agaratoli range for birding and eastern landscape feel. Afternoon Orchid Park visit, cultural evening, local village exposure, tea garden views or relaxed resort time.

Day 4

Burapahar range safari or Brahmaputra dolphin ride depending on guest interest and operating conditions, followed by departure or outstation transfer.

5 Days Slow Wildlife, Culture & River Plan

Day 1

  • Guwahati Airport / Borjhar: approximately 230–250 km by road.
  • Jorhat Airport / Rowriah: approximately 100–105 km by road.
  • Tezpur Airport / Tezpur side: approximately 75–90 km by road, depending on route and gate side.

Outstation transfers

  • Shillong: approximately 253–269 km by road.
  • Itanagar: approximately 200–240 km by road, depending on route.
  • Majuli: approximately 150–165 km by road and ferry planning, subject to ferry point and river conditions.

Nearby extensions

  • Kamakhya Temple, Guwahati: commonly planned around 200–220 km from the Kaziranga side.
  • Silghat Kamakhya Temple near Kaliabor, Nagaon: a respected tourist and pilgrimage stop that can be added to a suitable sightseeing plan.

Safari planning rules

Important timing guidance.

Morning half

Morning safari planning is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Safari gate opening is generally around 7:30 AM. Jeep safari duration is normally around 3 hours.

Afternoon half

Afternoon entry times are generally 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Only one safari should be planned in one half-day slot.

Maximum two safaris per day

A day can normally include one morning safari and one afternoon safari. Actual confirmation depends on official allocation and operational conditions.
