Jungleciti House Kaziranga Hotel Policies
Welcome to Jungleciti House Kaziranga, a unit of Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. We are delighted to have you as our guest and are committed to providing you with an exceptional experience. 1. Payment Terms
- Invoices are due and payable upon presentation. Any queries related to specific invoices shall not affect the immediate payment of outstanding amounts.
- Late Payments: Payments not made by the due date will accrue interest at a rate of 2% (two percent) above the Hotel's Partner Bank overdraft rate, as advised by the Hotel’s bankers.
2. Booking Cancellations and Force Majeure
- The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking immediately and without liability due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to damage to rooms, fire, acts of God, shortages of labor or food supplies, power failures, strikes, industrial unrest, or other events beyond the Hotel’s control.
- In such cases, the Hotel will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your booking at a similar property.
- The Hotel may also change the name or location of the function room with reasonable notice.
3. Hotel Property and Equipment
- The Hotel will provide standard operating apparel and/or equipment (e.g., linen) subject to availability and at no extra charge.
- Decor, props, and equipment not supplied by the Hotel must be removed immediately after the event. Items left behind will be stored for no more than 7 days, after which the Hotel reserves the right to dispose of them.
- The Hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to such items.
4. Damage to Property
- The client is responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils, and equipment by the client or their guests/employees.
5. Guest Compliance
- The client warrants that all guests and participants of any event or function agree to be bound by the Hotel’s terms and conditions.
6. Restrictions on Function Room Usage
The client may not:
- Paint, affix, or attach any advertising signs, notices, or other materials to the function room without the prior written consent of the Hotel.
- Use screws or nails in a manner that could damage the function room walls, floors, partitions, or doors.
7. Food and Beverage Policy
- No external food or beverages may be brought into the allocated rooms or consumed on the Hotel’s premises, unless pre-approved by the Hotel.
8. Smoking Policy
- Smoking is prohibited in public areas, except in designated smoking areas that are separated by a solid partition and where air is directly exhausted outside.
- Smoking is not permitted in restrooms or pre-function areas (including communal lobby spaces).
- If the client wishes to designate a function room as a smoking area, a sign will be placed outside the room stating that smoking is allowed.
9. Payment Methods
- Cheque Payments: Must include cheque number, bank name, branch number, and bank guarantee, with prior written consent from the Hotel.
- Credit Card Payments: A copy of the card, card number, CVC code, expiry date, and cardholder’s signature will be required, along with the physical credit card presented in person.
- Third-Party Authorizations: These are subject to prior written consent by Hotel Management.
10. Liability for Damages
- The client shall be liable for any damage caused to the room, hotel facilities, furnishings, equipment, and utensils. The client will be required to pay for any such damage on demand.
11. Assignment of Booking
- The client may not assign or transfer the booking to any third party, nor utilize the Hotel's facilities for any purpose other than that specified in the booking, without prior written consent from the Hotel.
12. Indebtedness
- A certificate signed by the Director or Financial Controller of the Hotel showing the amount owing by the client will be considered prima facie proof of the client’s indebtedness.
13. Waiver of Rights
- Any indulgence or concession shown to the client by the Hotel shall not be deemed a waiver of any of the Hotel’s rights or provisions of this agreement.
14. Changes to Information and Prices
- All information, including prices, provided on the Hotel’s website, brochures, or other materials, is subject to change. The Hotel is not liable for inaccuracies. It is the client’s responsibility to verify details with the Hotel before finalizing the booking.
15. Cancellation by the Hotel
- The Hotel reserves the right to cancel this agreement with written notice if the client is placed under judicial management, sequestration, or commits any act of insolvency as defined in the Insolvency Act.
16. Hotel Representatives
- Any advice, recommendations, or opinions given by Hotel representatives are provided in good faith and shall not constitute binding representations.
17. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of legal proceedings, the client agrees to cover all costs, including attorney fees and collection commissions.
18. Domicilium Citandi et Executandi
For all purposes under this agreement, the parties choose the following domicilia citandi et executandi:
- The Hotel: Jungleciti House (A Unit of Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd.), Kaziranga National Park, NH-715 (Old NH-37), AT Road Kaziranga, Vill - 2 No. Harmoti, P.O.- Kuthari, P.S. – Jakhalabandha, Dist.- Nagaon, Assam, India, PIN-782136.
- The Client: As provided under the "Personal Particulars of Client" section of the agreement.
19. Entire Agreement
- This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Hotel and the client. No other terms, representations, or warranties shall be binding unless specifically agreed to in writing and signed by both parties.
20. Severability
- If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, it shall be severed from the agreement, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
21. Alcohol Consumption Policy
- Consumption of alcohol within the Hotel premises is strictly prohibited. No type of liquor or alcoholic beverages may be brought onto or consumed within Jungleciti House premises.
