Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. for your travel and hospitality needs. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to provide a clear and fair cancellation policy. Please review the terms below carefully before finalizing your booking.

1. Cancellation Charges for Direct JHIPL Website Bookings

  • Standard Cancellation Charge: A cancellation charge of ₹3500 INR + 18% GST per room per night applies to all bookings made via the Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. website or through direct bookings. This charge is applicable irrespective of booking or check-in dates.
  • Package-Specific Cancellation Policy: Some bookings, particularly special packages, have specific cancellation terms outlined on the booking page and reservation voucher sent to the guest. These terms override the standard cancellation policy.
  • Non-Refundable Promotion or Discounted Bookings: Any promotional or discounted bookings made through our website are non-refundable.
  • Jungle Package Cancellation Policy: For Jungle Packages:
    • Before 30 days of arrival: A 40% cancellation penalty applies.
    • Within 30 days of arrival: The booking becomes non-refundable, as the packages include associated products/services with specific cancellation policies.
  • Transfers Cancellation Policy: Any transfer bookings (e.g., airport transfers, safari transfers) are non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled arrival.
  • Seasonal Bookings (1st December to 31st January): Bookings for the period between 1st December and 31st January are non-refundable under any circumstances. Refund requests for bookings during this period will not be entertained.

2. Cancellation Policy for OTA (Online Travel Aggregator) Bookings

  • Refundable Bookings: For bookings made through OTAs (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia), refunds are typically available if the cancellation is made 90 days or more before the check-in date.
  • Non-Refundable Bookings: If the cancellation is made within 90 days of check-in, the booking will generally be non-refundable.
  • Please Note: OTAs may have different cancellation policies based on the platform and the terms of your specific booking. We strongly recommend reviewing the cancellation terms of the respective OTA before making a reservation.

3. Safari Booking Cancellation

  • Safari Refunds: Safari charges will be refunded only if the Safari Operator accepts the refund request.
  • Non-Refundable Safari Handling Charge: A 5% non-refundable Safari Handling Charge applies to the total safari charges, along with an 18% GST on the applicable handling charges.

4. Seasonal Cancellation Policy (1st December to 31st January)

  • Non-Refundable Bookings: Any bookings with check-in dates between 1st December and 31st January are non-refundable, irrespective of the cancellation reason. Any refund requests during this period will be rejected.

5. No-Show Policy

  • No-Show Bookings: If a guest fails to check-in on the scheduled date (i.e., No-Show), the booking will be treated as non-refundable, and no refund will be issued.

6. Cancellation Within 14 Days of Check-In

  • Non-Refundable Cancellations: Any bookings cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date will be treated as non-refundable.

7. Guest Reminder

We kindly request that all guests carefully review the cancellation charges and policies before confirming a booking. Once a reservation is confirmed, the cancellation terms outlined above will apply.

Reservation and Booking Refund Policy

At Jungleciti Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. (JHIPL), we strive to provide a seamless booking experience for our guests. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to refunds for reservations made via our website and through third-party platforms (Online Travel Agents - OTAs).

By making a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

1. Refund Processing Time

  • Standard Refunds: Any refund requests for bookings made through our official website or directly with the hotel are processed within 14 working days from the date of approval. The refund will be credited back to the original method of payment used at the time of booking. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on the processing time of your bank or payment provider.
  • International Credit Cards: For refunds processed to international credit cards, please allow 30 to 45 working days for the refund to reflect in your original mode of payment. The timeline depends on the policies and procedures of the international banks and payment processors.

2. Refunds for OTA (Online Travel Agent) Bookings

  • If you have made your reservation through an Online Travel Agent (OTA) such as Booking.com, Expedia, or other third-party platforms, refunds will be governed by the terms and conditions set forth by the respective OTA. These platforms typically have their own refund policies, including cancellation deadlines, service charges, and other applicable terms.
    Please refer to the OTA's specific refund policy for detailed information on refund eligibility, processing times, and any additional fees. In cases of a dispute or clarification regarding an OTA booking, you may need to contact the OTA's customer support team directly.

3. Refund Terms for Cancellations

  • Refund eligibility for cancellations depends on the specific cancellation policy associated with your booking. Please refer to the terms and conditions at the time of booking for details on whether your reservation qualifies for a refund or any applicable cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation Charges: In case a refund is applicable, cancellation charges (if any) will be deducted as per the booking terms, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method. The cancellation charges vary depending on the booking channel and time of cancellation.

4. Mode of Refund

Refunds will be processed to the same payment method used for the original booking. If the original payment method is no longer valid or cannot process the refund, we may contact you to discuss alternative options.

5. Non-Refundable Bookings

Please note that certain bookings, particularly those marked as Non-Refundable, may not be eligible for any refund under any circumstances. This includes bookings made during peak seasons, promotional offers, or as part of special packages where specific terms apply. Please check the booking terms before confirming your reservation.

  • All refunds are subject to approval based on the cancellation policy applicable to your specific booking.
