Booking Policy: Official Website, Direct Channels and OTA Bookings
Last updated: 4 July 2026, 11:00 hrs Indian Standard Time (Asia/Kolkata).
This Booking Policy explains how reservations are made, confirmed and governed for Jungleciti House Kaziranga through the official website, direct hotel channels, payment links, email support, OTAs and other travel partners. It must be read with the Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Hotel Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking-specific terms control each reservation
Every booking may have its own rate, inclusions, taxes, meal plan, cancellation rule, refund rule, deposit requirement and amendment rule. The booking page, official reservation engine, package page, rate plan, payment link, OTA voucher or written confirmation shown at the time of booking forms part of the booking contract and prevails over general website text if there is a conflict.
2. Official website and direct bookings
- Bookings made through jungleciti.com may continue to the official reservation page or authorised booking engine for live availability and date-based pricing.
- A booking is confirmed only when the required payment, deposit, guarantee or written confirmation condition is satisfied.
- Guests must verify travel dates, room category, guest count, meal plan, package inclusions, tax details, cancellation policy and refund policy before payment.
- Direct booking support is available through [email protected] and official contact numbers, but cancellation requests must follow the Cancellation Policy and be sent by email.
3. OTA and travel-partner bookings
Bookings made through OTAs, travel agents, marketplaces or corporate travel platforms are governed by the OTA/partner’s displayed terms, payment rules, cancellation policy, refund process and support system. JHIPL may not be able to modify, cancel, refund or access full customer/card data for OTA bookings. OTA-collected customer data, card data, phone number, email ID, account details, marketing preferences and platform records remain at the OTA’s end and are not under JHIPL’s direct control.
4. Payment, deposits and taxes
Bookings may require full advance payment, partial advance, card guarantee, payment link, bank transfer, UPI, OTA collection or pay-at-hotel terms depending on rate plan and availability. Taxes and government levies are charged as applicable. Payment gateway charges, bank charges, convenience fees, foreign-exchange fees and OTA service charges may be non-refundable as per the applicable terms.
5. Guest information and legal documents
Guests must provide accurate names, contact details, nationality, guest count, arrival information and legally required identity documents. Indian guests must provide valid government-recognised ID. Foreign nationals must provide passport, visa and other legally required documents. Failure to provide required documents or mismatch in identity may lead to denial of check-in without refund.
6. Room allocation and availability
Room category is subject to confirmed booking. Specific room number, floor, view, bed preference, adjoining room, early check-in and late check-out are requests only unless expressly confirmed in writing. Availability may change due to maintenance, safety, force majeure, guest overstay, operational requirements or circumstances beyond JHIPL’s reasonable control. JHIPL may provide an equivalent or upgraded option where appropriate and available.
7. High-season, packages and third-party procurement
During December, January, holidays, wildlife season peaks, festivals, long weekends, group dates or high-demand periods, JHIPL may procure or block inventory, transport, safari assistance, staff, supplies or independent operator services in advance. Such bookings may be non-refundable or subject to stricter cancellation and amendment rules. Third-party components are subject to the operator/authority/supplier terms.
8. Amendments
Date changes, guest-count changes, name changes, room changes, package changes and service amendments are subject to availability, written approval, rate difference, supplier approval and booking-specific terms. A permitted amendment does not automatically convert a non-refundable booking into a refundable booking.
9. Confirmation, voucher and guest responsibility
The guest must review the booking confirmation or OTA voucher immediately and notify errors promptly. JHIPL is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect guest input, OTA transmission delay, wrong dates, wrong contact details, duplicate bookings or failure to read displayed terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Booking Policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to non-waivable consumer rights and mandatory legal forums, disputes relating to JHIPL-controlled direct bookings and services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and forums at Nagaon, Assam, India.
